  I love this tiny little house. I try to rent it every December, and usually the skies are bright and the weather good. But this year? This skies opened and it rained and rained. For me it was perfect. I rent this place to get away from noise and traffic and everything else! This is the perfect place to do that. Because you always have the Pacific Ocean and the birds and the sound of the waves. And for me? That’s enough. Michele, their rental manager manager is incredibly helpful. When I suggested that they might need new cookware, she sent over a box immediately with a whole new set of pots and pans! Cayucos is great and people are very friendly.

  Fantastic location with a great deck on the bluff in Cayucos! The cottage is very old so don't expect a modern place and you won't be disappointed. Decor is cute beach house and old fashioned kitchen and bathroom, which could both use some maintenance. Very clean. Comfortable queen bed.

  This is the perfect place to rest, restore, renew. I'm a therapist, so I need to get away and be still. This cozy little house sits directly above the beach and listening to breaking waves is all the sound you hear. No honking, no leaf blowers, no barking dogs. Heaven.

  As always,our yearly spring vacation to this quaint comfortable bungalow on the beach is exactly what our family loves. We have been coming every year for the past 14 years to this same place. Every year they have made some kind of improvement to the place. New floors, new deck, new beds, new couch...
  The owners that visit at the main house, no matter who it is, are all very friendly and polite. We love the easy access to the beach and love that it is a short walk to town. It is quiet and peaceful, you fall asleep to the sound of ocean waves and the smell of fresh ocean breeze. Communication is amazing and punctual.

  The location cannot be beat! This little house has sooooo much potential! Sure, the furniture is a little worn and dated- no biggie- not expecting nor do I require a fancy upscale resort, but the house itself is pretty run down, tired, and in need of some deep cleaning (!!), new paint, and cosmetic (safety?) upgrades (screens on the bedroom window and sliding door would have been nice). All in all, this funky little space worked well for us and our needs. The location can’t be beat and I would absolutely LOVE if the house was given the little spruce it deserves (and we’d come back for that!). We did have a wonderful time and enjoyed walks on the beach, and time on the deck (if only there was a light out there for the early evening!). Thanks for a fun stay!

  Adorable little beach cottage, originally built in 1930s. Fantastic beach front location, wonderful deck. Only problem was getting in--key was not where we were told it was, we were not given a lock box code, no answer at rental agency, no call back for a long time. Not a fancy place, a little run down inside (bedroom blinds didn't work), but once we got in, we loved it.

  I love Cayucos, and this quaint family owned quest house sits right on the beach. I love this place. Waking up to the sound of crashing waves was all I wanted. Huge outdoor patio is perfect for sitting and doing nothing but gazing out at the Pacific. Comfy bed, well stocked kitchen, should you want to cook up a storm, which I didn't. This was my second week stay here, and I hope to come back at Christmas.
