Incredible downtown, oceanfront location. Four bedroom and four bathrooms, 2 living rooms. This home has a large oceanfront patio, courtyard with gas grill, private beach access and just steps to the sand, pier, downtown shopping and restaurants.

  You can’t beat being right on the beach, private 10 steps down to sand and easy walk of 2 blocks to the Main Street. The separation of the bedrooms and a separate “living room” make traveling with various age or energy groups pleasant. The place is mid century and barely updated. We have stayed twice - once about 5 years ago before new ownership and then just recently (Oct 2024). The interior was painted and new inside furniture was added but that’s about it. But we’re not here for interior design. We used the gas grill which was ready to go. Outdoor furniture the worse for wear. . We had 8 people this time.we asked for an exception on bringing our dog but was not allowed Everyone enjoyed the stay. The rental office, though friendly, was slow to return calls up to the date of rental. We will likely stay again - before they someday completely update the place.

  We always want a beach house with easy access to the beach and plenty of room for the families. This house always meets that need with plenty of room for everyone to be able to do their own thing and for large family dinners.

  This house was awesome. Very spacious & peaceful right on the beach. Great to wake up n have your morning coffee or hot tea and listen to the ocean. Huge patio in the back for a nice family BBQ. Would definitely stay again

  The house was very roomy--4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Could use some updated renovation but
  feel that they may be beginning the process for the
  floor in some areas was newer.
  The best part was easy access to the beach and the
  back patio. You could actually sit on the patio and
  watch the kids on the beach from there. Also it was a quick walk to the shops and pier. Found that was
  an additional plus. The only problem I had was how much it cost for a week and we did leave a day early because I didn't realize you had to be out by 10:00 a.m. My fault for assuming it would be 11:00 a.m.
  Overall it was a great stay just a bit pricey if you break it down what the daily cost would actually be.
  But if you went with a group and the cost was split that would be a different story. This was our family vacation and something I wanted to do. If the price was lower, I would probably stay here again.

  Once again we stayed at 8 Front Street. We have been bringing the whole family here for 10 years. It is a perfect place for a large family gathering. Michelle at Highway 1 is wonderful to work with as we continue to make out yearly plans.

  This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. It is a great location, plenty of room to relax, eat and be merry! We come to get away from the valley heat and it's just nice to recharge at the sounds of the ocean. We saw several whales and dolphins/porpoises over the weekend. The kids played on the porch and on the beach, it was a short walk to the play area by the pier. Totally enjoyed!
